Walking mid way between rocks and sky

At the foot of these rocky towers, footpaths wind through high-altitude meadows, scree slopes and mini Alpine tarns, offering constantly changing views. Walking here means alternately striding out and stopping to contemplate while observing the shapes of the vertical rock faces and the rock-sky contrast. In summer, flowers and meadows frame the views; in winter snow and hoarfrost turn the landscape into a pristine painting.

Stories carved into the rock

The Tre Cime are custodians of past mountaineers and Alpine battles, courage and determination. Mountain huts and shelters along paths offer strategic stop-off points and uniquely panoramic observation points. Incredible views meet walkers at every turn and the wind, rocks and landscapes tell ancient mountain stories in which nature and man dialogue in the midst of imposing forms and timeless scenarios.
