The Lavazè gently rolling high plateau links up the Fiemme and Fassa valleys with open meadows, hidden clearings and conifer forests. Interlinking paths offer panoramic views dominated by the Latemar massif, a rocky giant which tempts visitors to climb, observe and contemplate. The silent call of the Latemar massif

All the Latemar massif’s stratified rock faces and pinnacles carved out by wind and time are visible from the high plateau, custodian of thousands of years of geological history. Walking along its slopes or stopping off in the high meadows, the dialogue between stones and nature, peace and quiet and grandeur is tangible. The pass is a starting and vantage point to stop and contemplate, where the valley and the massif speak volumes of the power of the Dolomites. Lavazè is one of Europe's most important cross-country skiing centres.
